Presenter (S5) told the court that senior‑services demand has risen and volunteers are scarce, and asked commissioners to raise a part‑time Meals on Wheels deliverer’s pay from $13.50 to $14 an hour and to reinstate a clerk position from part‑time to full‑time. She said the part‑time arrangement tried last year did not meet operational needs and that volunteers are insufficient for longer delivery routes (including Butler and some lake areas).
