Sheriff’s Office asks county to accept two continuing grants for highway enforcement and K-9 program

A representative identified as Greg (speaking for the sheriff’s office) presented two continuing grant requests. For the highway enforcement aggressive traffic grant (Governor’s Office of Highway Safety) he said the county has participated since October 2020; the state share this year is about $51,903 with a local match of about $77,855 and staff requested the board accept the continuation.
