Plan Commission recommends rezoning of Riverside Park after contentious public hearing
After a two-hour public hearing and broad public opposition, the Eagle River Plan Commission voted 4-1 to recommend that the City Council amend zoning for part of Riverside Park from Park/Recreation to Single Two-Family Residential and to approve a preliminary plat; Vilas County said proceeds would help county services and estimated net proceeds of about $1.5 million after expenses.
