Board approves second‑reading policy updates; two proposals rejected after feedback

On second reading at its Dec. 18 meeting, the Gilmanton School District Board of Education approved a package of technical, updated and new policies with suggested edits. The board approved technical policies (including 0168.1, 2266, 2416 and others), a set of updated policies (0100, 0144.5, 0166.1 and others), and new policies (1461, 3121, 5310.01 was considered but ultimately rejected, 7440.03 rejected, 7450, 7455 and 8120 noted). The minutes record that policy 5310.01 was rejected based on school nurse feedback and 7440.03 was rejected based on Superintendent feedback.
