Calhoun County commissioners approve routine appointments, chip-seal contract and $4.67M in claims

At its Feb. 4 meeting the Calhoun County Board approved a broad consent agenda of appointments, awarded a chip-seal slag contract to the sole bidder Yellow Rose Transport, and approved claims payable totaling $4,667,673.23. All recorded votes were unanimous.

The Calhoun County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 4 approved a consent agenda of committee and liaison appointments for terms generally expiring Dec. 31, 2022, including representation on the Board of Public Health, BCATS, LDFA, local development authorities, and multiple advisory committees. The consent agenda was approved 7-0 under Res.020-2021 (moved by Commissioner Kathy-Sue Vette and seconded by Commissioner Derek King).
