The East Longmeadow Conservation Commission approved an RDA for a proposed backyard pool at 39 Porter Road after the applicant’s representative told the commission the work will use wheelbarrows and no heavy machinery. The commission closed the public hearing and staff will issue the permit within days.

The East Longmeadow Conservation Commission approved a Request for Determination of Applicability for 39 Porter Road on July 8, 2026, after the applicant’s representative said the proposed in-ground pool will be installed in the same flat spot as a prior pool and will not require excavation with heavy machinery.
