The Labette County Board of Commissioners on April 14, 2025 authorized signatures on Resolution 2025-25-L, a local policy prohibiting installation in the county of solar cells and solar cell arrays produced with forced labor under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. The motion to adopt the resolution passed 2-1.
