On Dec. 22, 2025 the Commissioners Court of Jack County, Texas approved the signing of a Joint Resolution and the accompanying statistical information for the March 3, 2026 joint primary. County Judge Brian Keith Umphress moved to approve the signing; Commissioner Henry Birdwell seconded and the motion passed unanimously (5–0).
