Erin Brady of the Ada County assessor's office told the board the value adjustment "should have been keyed on this parcel in the appeal work basket, and it was not completed correctly," and that the office reopened the record, corrected the figure and notified the property owner.
Commissioner (S5) moved to "accept the revised adjustment for John Raider, parcel S1507220100, based on the testimony here today," and Commissioner (S4) seconded the motion. The chair called for the ayes and the motion carried.
Brady said the correction is already entered in the appeal work basket and that notices to the owner are automatic. The board did not schedule further action on the matter.
The action resolves a clerical discrepancy in the assessor's file; the county noted the change will flow automatically through the office's systems.
