The Strongsville Board of Education on July 9 directed staff to implement student drug‑testing in a narrowed form for the coming year: middle‑school testing will be opt‑in for families and the district will conduct random sampling at the high school rather than the mandatory annual "draw the line" testing for every high‑school participant in activities.
