Adair County awards $171,260 culvert replacement contract, approves engineering intern hire
The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved Resolution #2026-31 awarding a $171,260.60 contract to GUS CONSTRUCTION Co., Inc. for a Kent Avenue culvert replacement and authorized hiring Erin Ford as an engineering intern at $18 per hour, both approved unanimously May 6.

The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved Resolution #2026-31 on May 6, awarding the contract for Project LFM-LRCBW26P-7X-01 (Kent Avenue) to GUS CONSTRUCTION Co., Inc., of Casey, Iowa, for $171,260.60. Jerry Walker, chair of the Adair County Board of Supervisors, presided over the roll-call vote, which was recorded as aye from supervisors Hoadley, Baier, Wedemeyer, Christoffersen and Walker.
