Upper Darby trustees approve routine vendor payments and note several resignations

The Upper Darby Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees authorized payment of routine professional invoices and acknowledged several personnel changes during its July 13 meeting.
The chair moved to authorize payment to McCarter & English for legal and professional services in the amount of $13,640; Brinker Simpson & Company LLC for the plan audit in the amount of $11,054.38; CBIZ Retirement Investment Solutions for actuarial and administrative services in the amount of $10,812; and a secretary fee to Kara M. Gavin for $500 for the quarter. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote (recorded as 4 ayes).
After the payment approvals the chair read several personnel items into the record: resignations effective between June 15 and July 6, 2026 (Adam Wheatley, Jeremy Baker, Travis Hall, Richard J. Howe, Tian Dat Vu) and reported the passing of Detective Schneider, who served 1965–2000. These were announcements for the record and no board action was taken on personnel matters at the meeting.
The board also thanked the secretary for recent work and acknowledged that payments covered services already rendered.
