Select Board asks for details before accepting Cheshire Community Power surplus return

Patsy Beffa‑Negrini told the Nelson Select Board on Aug. 6 that Cheshire Community Power has surplus funds that have been voted to be returned to participating towns and that the surplus was recommended for immediate deposit into the town’s Capital Reserve Fund for clean energy projects.
