Council approves Deines HVAC, two roofing repairs, computer replacements and DBE policy
The Russell council approved a 95% efficient HVAC unit for the Deines Cultural Center and accepted R & R Roofing Co. bids for metal and shingle roof repairs, along with a $22,949 computer replacement purchase and adoption of a municipal DBE program policy; council also directed staff to negotiate uniform services with BP Clean-Rite.

The Russell City Council on Dec. 17 approved a set of facilities and equipment actions: a bid from Werth Heating Plumbing and AC to replace the Deines Cultural Center HVAC with a 95% efficient unit for $17,492.34 (10-year parts warranty, one year labor warranty); R & R Roofing Co. bids for a metal roof repair ($40,422.00) and shingle roof repair ($63,423.65); and a 2024 computer replacement purchase totaling $22,949.00. Council also adopted the Russell Municipal DBE Program Policy Statement and authorized the mayor to sign the document.
