Superintendent outlines summer programs, internships and school facility projects

At the board meeting the superintendent offered a year‑end report and a preview of activity for the summer and coming year. The superintendent said the district’s extended school‑year program will begin Monday, June 29, and noted a set of facility projects under way, including air‑conditioning installations at several elementary schools and work on Edison High School’s orchestra room and ongoing additions at other buildings.
