Greenspace Committee to focus consultant search on lakefront after RFP nonresponse
At its July 23 meeting the Greenspace Committee learned the Smith Group did not respond to a consultant RFP and agreed not to reissue the solicitation; members decided to concentrate outreach on the village lakefront and to meet shortlisted candidates directly. Next meeting: Aug. 6 in Village Hall.

Karen Horwitz, a member of the Greenspace Committee, reported that the Smith Group did not respond to the committee’s request for proposals and said the committee believed the firm's nonresponse was more likely due to the village’s small size than to lack of resources.
