River Ridge hears NPDES update and agrees to assist on storm-surge resilience planning
Board was updated on the Lee County NPDES Cycle 4 Year 7 Annual Report and agreed to support a multi-agency storm-surge resilience initiative; Mr. Long requested a board and staff representative for an advisory panel to coordinate over the coming decade.

Johnson Engineering representative Mark Zordan presented the Lee County NPDES Permit FLS000035-004 Cycle 4 Year 7 Annual Report, which Lee County reviewed and approved and which will be submitted to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection before the Nov. 1, 2024 deadline. Zordan said permit renewal timing is uncertain, so reporting will continue into Year 8.
