Ithaca working group outlines participatory budgeting structure, aims to send proposal to council by September
City sustainability staff and a community working group updated the Sustainability Advisory Commission on a participatory budgeting process set by Justice 50 that reserves 10% of capital-project funds; workshops funded by a NYSERDA grant will run next winter and a proposal is expected to go to Common Council by September.
