Seminole County adopts broad land‑development code amendments and consolidates travel policy

County commissioners approved the second reading of broad updates to the Seminole County Land Development Code (changes to permitted uses, multifamily allowances and waiver authority) and repealed travel‑expense provisions from the code to consolidate travel policy in administration; both measures passed unanimously.

At its June meeting the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners approved two countywide ordinances: the second reading of a package of amendments to the Seminole County Land Development Code and an ordinance repealing the county’s travel‑expense provisions from the code of ordinances to consolidate policy authority in administrative rules.
