Board grants variance to allow three dwellings on combined farmstead with condition limiting relocation

The Board approved a variance allowing Gary and Justin (Bridal) to combine adjacent parcels and keep three dwellings on the resulting farmstead so a proposed barn that would straddle the property line can be constructed. Land Services explained that combining parcels would ordinarily trigger rules limiting dwellings per parcel, but the applicants requested relief so the farm could retain housing for family or hired help.
