Commissioner Jake Dillon moved to approve the revised ordinance and Commissioner Carol Tunstall seconded; the motion passed with a recorded 4-0 vote. The commission had discussed the ordinance at a prior joint public hearing Feb. 26 and again at its March 1 meeting. Town staff said the current approval addresses a few typographical errors and clarifications identified during the review process.
The commission emphasized that as an advisory body it forwards recommendations to the Town Council, which retains final authority on ordinances. The commission did not specify a timeline for the council’s consideration. No additional amendments were adopted at the meeting.
