Commissioner Wynne updated the Sumner County Health & Emergency Services Committee on April 6, 2026, saying the volunteer fire department ad-hoc is developing a job description and qualifications for a proposed fire coordinator who would provide planning, guidance and administrative support. Chairman Darrell Rogers asked Wynne to present the full recommendations at the committee's next meeting.
