Council approves first 2026 budget amendment, adds $35,000 for digital reader boards

She also said Fund 35 (Facilities Fund) would fall below the city’s reserve policy as a result of the amendment.
The committee reported full support for the amendment and, after a motion and second, the council approved the ordinance on a voice vote.
