PLover, March 2, 2026 — The Village of Plover Plan Commission on Tuesday recommended that the Village Board adopt an amendment to Chapter 550 of the Zoning Ordinance to add a Land Use Matrix as an attachment.
Karmen Anderson, a village staff member, reviewed the proposed matrix during a public hearing, saying it "organizes and modernizes the current Zoning Code and allows the public to easily find the information they are seeking." Jasmine Barclift read the public hearing notice before the presentation.
After the presentation, Commissioner Al Tessmann moved to recommend approval of the amendment; Jackie Denny seconded the motion. The commission recorded the motion as carried. Anderson told the commission staff supports the change as presented; the final adoption decision will be made by the Village Board.
The recommendation came without recorded roll-call tallies in the meeting record; the minutes state only that the motion "carried." No members of the public addressed the commission during the hearing. The commission adjourned at 5:49 p.m.
