CCRPC proposes fee changes for technical assistance and cloud map storage starting July 2025

Melanie Needle, GIS Data and IT Manager, told the PAC that CCRPC updated its technical assistance policy. Needle said that technical assistance below 12 hours will remain included in member dues, while assistance above 12 hours will be billed at $60 per hour. "The rate will increase to $70 an hour starting in July 2025," Needle said. She added that CCRPC is asking for $120 per year per map service for cloud storage required for hosted web maps, effective July 2025.
Ravi Venkataraman asked whether old maps had been removed from the server. Needle responded that staff have not yet had time to complete a full inventory of older maps.
The PAC discussed the proposed changes; no formal vote on fee adoption occurred at the Dec. 11 meeting, but staff requested that members identify projects that may need technical assistance through June 2025.
