The council voted to approve a substitute resolution awarding a one‑year property‑management contract to RWK Enterprises LLC for the RM Keating Historical Enterprise Park and two other city properties, authorizing the mayor to sign documents subject to review by the city’s general counsel. Council members moved to untable the item and adopted the substitute resolution without further amendment.
A separate motion to appropriate $45,485 to cover Russell Library employees’ union wage increases retroactive to July 1, 2025, passed on roll call. The clerk read the legal notice and the amount and account number (100073511104543) before the council approved the appropriation; the minutes record an 8–2 roll‑call outcome with one member absent.
Other approvals included an ordinance amending the city code to add a real‑estate tax‑fixing agreement for 339 Main Street, the adoption of a new job description for an automated traffic‑safety‑device processor under the Maximus classification plan, a five‑year lease for Assessing Abilities Company (900 square feet at RM Keating Historical Enterprise Park) and acceptance of a donated 2017 Toyota Highlander for the city’s PAL program. Each item was moved, seconded and carried as recorded in the meeting.
Council members also reconsidered and then tabled the library appropriation discussion to the next meeting after a subsequent procedural motion; the motion to reconsider had passed and the motion to table passed on a roll call.
