USDA REDLG funding cut could limit Kemper County projects, board told

Legal counsel Kacey Bailey told the Kemper County Utility District board that USDA indicated a temporary reduction in RED Loan availability under a continuing resolution: only $10 million is available for Q1 and the FY2025 maximum RED Loan was revised from $2 million to $1 million, meaning projects larger than $1 million will need scope revisions or alternative financing.
