The Colrain Select Board voted unanimously May 8 to go into executive session under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, §21(a)(1) to discuss the reputation, character or mental health — rather than professional competence — of an individual. Chair Emily Thurber moved to enter executive session at 1:07 PM at the Colrain Town Office; Benjamin Eastman seconded. The board recorded roll‑call votes: Emily Thurber — Aye; Benjamin Eastman — Aye; Catherine Korby — Aye.
