KPSAA adjusts E2 grade calculation to include first‑quarter grades
The KPSAA board agreed to change the E2 eligibility calculation to include Q1 grades so E2 more closely reflects semester progress; staff will produce a visual guide to explain the cumulative calculation to stakeholders after concerns that the change alters rules without notice.

Executive Secretary Vaughn Dosko told the board Sept. 26 that the district has adjusted the E2 grade check calculation to begin including first‑quarter grades so that the E2 check better reflects cumulative semester performance.
