At its Nov. 17 meeting the Common Council approved several administrative items in unanimous votes and deferred consideration of water tower bids for additional bids and totals.
Council approved an engagement letter from Johnson Block (motion by Day, second by Streif; roll call 7-0). The council approved Chamber Bucks for employees, setting $50 for full-time employees and $25 for part-time employees (motion by Day, second by Roth; carried 7-0). The council granted permission to allow food and beverages in the gymnasium for an event on May 24, 2026 (motion by Day, second by Strack; carried 7-0).
The council approved removing Jordon Dyer and adding Anthony Downing as the UMMEG alternate (motion by Day, second by Streif; carried 7-0). The Schedule of Fees was updated to add a 2% administration fee; Director of Public Works Anthony Downing was directed to check with the county on a possible dumping fee for the brush site. Council tabled action on water tower bids to allow staff to solicit additional bids and totals. The council also approved an amendment to Chapter 1 Ordinance 2025-11-17 (motion by Day, second by Roth; roll call 7-0).
