At its Dec. 15 meeting, the Dolores County Board of County Commissioners approved a sequence of year-end fund transfers moving balances from specific accounts into the general fund.
The board moved and passed the following resolutions by voice vote: 12-25-10 (transfer $23,362 from public health grant funds to the general fund), 12-25-11 (transfer ~$21,313.44 from fair and rodeo prize funds), 12-25-12 (transfer $6,834.98 from livestock program funds), 12-25-13 and related small transfers (4-H/junior livestock funds), 12-25-14 (transfer $6,833.36 from Extension orchard funds), 12-25-15 (transfer $75,613.15 from the Dove Creek Town sheriff contract funds), 12-25-16 (transfer $315 from a 2024 Southwest grant), and 12-25-17 (transfer $7,534.85 from conservation trust funds). The Chair read or summarized each resolution and the motions were seconded and approved in succession.
The board also discussed mill-levy certifications and noted some levies from towns and districts had not yet arrived; the board set Dec. 22 as the likely certification meeting if outstanding documentation arrives.
Commissioners did not record roll-call tallies in the transcript; each resolution passed by affirmative voice vote during the meeting.
