Township accepts audit, approves ISC participation and hears infrastructure updates

Blair Township accepted the 2025 DCED audit with no findings, approved advertising the results and signing the letter of representation, agreed to a $11,435.25 Intergovernmental Stormwater Committee contribution for 2027, and heard engineer updates including a $50,000 estimate for Catfish Road culvert erosion repairs.

Secretary/Treasurer Kami Bilek reported that CPA firm Ritchey, Ritchey & Koontz completed Blair Township’s 2025 DCED audit with no findings. CPA Brad Koontz provided two comments: a recommendation to check with the Hollidaysburg Area School District Tax Office regarding timing of 2024 and 2025 per capita tax submissions, and a suggestion that the township consider a Section 125 cafeteria plan for employee health insurance. Supervisor Brad Germaux moved to advertise the audit results and to sign the Ritchey, Ritchey & Koontz letter of representation; Supervisor Jacob Wible seconded and the motions passed unanimously.
