At its July 2 meeting the Armstrong County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved multiple county agreements and professional-service contracts, adopted Proclamation #2026-16 naming Turney Luke Day, and appointed Jeff Boarts to the county Housing Authority.

The Armstrong County Board of Commissioners met on July 2, 2026, in the Commissioners' Conference Room and unanimously approved a series of agreements and appointments affecting public health, child welfare information systems and housing. Commissioner Anthony G. Shea moved the measures; Commissioner Pat Fabian seconded each motion and votes were unanimous.
