Monroe council approves appointments, licenses, contracts and equipment purchases in unanimous votes
At its Dec. 15 meeting the Monroe Common Council confirmed special committee and Housing Authority appointments, granted a liquor/wine license to Sooner Enterprises, awarded a forestry contract, approved a broken-main project contract, bought fire PPE ($88,301.91) and four police vehicles ($177,844), and appointed election inspectors for 2025–2027.
