The Mapleton Local School District Board of Education on June 8 voted to recall teacher Emily Royski to active employment effective Aug. 1, 2026. The board approved the recall as part of the Superintendent’s consent agenda, which passed on a motion by Board member Fred Hartzler and a second from Travis Kettering.
