Star Valley Ranch council codifies holidays, tables STR ordinance and advances zoning changes
At its March 10 meeting the Star Valley Ranch Town Council approved Ordinance 2026-01 (codifying town-designated holidays including Veterans Day), unanimously tabled the short-term rental ordinance until April 14, and advanced a zoning update on roof overhangs on second reading.

The Star Valley Ranch Town Council on March 10 approved Ordinance 2026-01 (Title III Administration Chapter 32), moving the town's designated holidays into municipal code and formalizing recognition of Veterans Day. Councilman Wade Bitter moved to approve the ordinance on third reading; Councilman Toolson seconded. Councilmen Taylor Ellis, Wade Bitter, Toolson and Mayor Rok voted aye; Councilman Kirsten Merrill voted no.
