Board staff introduce new AASB executive director, clarify program-authorizations are not final approvals
In his report the board’s staff member Doctor Mackey introduced Dr. Chad Holden as the new executive director of the Alabama Association of School Boards, congratulated Allison McClure for recognition, and emphasized that the morning’s votes authorized further program review rather than granting final approval; staff will review materials and return recommendations to the board in 2027.
