Board extends state-provided CrowdStrike EDR services for one year

Supervisors approved a one-year extension of a memorandum of understanding with the Iowa Department of Management to continue receiving CrowdStrike endpoint detection and response and security-operations services at no cost; staff said this will be the third year of the program.

The Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors voted on July 14 to extend a memorandum of understanding with the Iowa Department of Management for an additional year to receive CrowdStrike endpoint detection and response (EDR) software and state security-operations center services at no cost to the county.
