Planning commission OKs Alpine Gateway concept plan for commercial development along Highway 40
The commission approved a concept plan for Alpine Gateway, a proposed 26.5-acre commercial development near 3150 S Highway 40, after developer Jeremiah Larson described potential tenants, green space and coordination with UDOT on an intersection signal; commissioners approved the plan 5–0.

Jeremiah Larson presented the Alpine Gateway concept plan for roughly 26.5 acres near 3150 S Highway 40. Larson said the design includes flexible commercial spaces, a possible gas station and hotel interest, green space, and that the developer has discussed a new intersection and traffic signal with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT). Larson said the developer is open to community input and aims to create a strong tax base for the town.
