Commission approves telecommunicator position change, several grants and routine purchases
The commission approved converting a telecommunicator position into a shift supervisor (resulting in 5 shift supervisors and 21 telecommunicators), approved applying for an America 250 grant and support for a Children's Trust Fund (SCOPE) application, and approved routine surplus and small purchases including a 2013 Ford Escape surplus, Amazon movie purchase ($54.97) and a one-time Facebook promotion ($400).

The St. Clair County Commission on April 28 amended a previously tabled personnel item at the sheriff’s request to convert one telecommunicator position into a shift supervisor position; county staff said the change will leave the staffing complement at five shift supervisors and 21 telecommunicators.
