Elementary Principal April Knust told the board she attended the State Principals’ Conference and brought back work on AQuESTT accountability, classroom walk-throughs and initiatives to develop school culture and climate. Knust reported that classroom walk-throughs and teacher evaluations are underway, that a Bookblast promotion from Books Are Fun awarded each teacher a $100 shopping spree, and that seasonal staff socials have taken place.
