Wood River Rural Schools board accepts resignation, declares surplus and enters executive session

The Wood River Rural Schools Board of Education on Dec. 15 accepted the resignation of Darin Waddington and authorized the disposal of identified surplus items, while also approving routine business and briefly meeting in executive session.

Dylan Gill, board secretary, moved to approve the meeting agenda; Nick Rennau seconded the motion and the agenda was approved unanimously. The consent agenda — including prior minutes, monthly claims and monthly financial reports — was approved 6-0 on a motion by Crystal Stutzman and a second by Jodi Rauert.

The board voted 6-0 to authorize district administration to declare certain items surplus and to sell or dispose of them in accordance with board policy. The motion to declare the items surplus was made by Dylan Gill and seconded by Jodi Rauert.
