"The 1st one was we added an additional $35,000 for 2 digital reader boards, that'll be paid for out of the street fund," Reed said.
Reed also noted the amendment reduces the reserve balance in Fund 35 (the Facilities Fund) below the city’s reserve policy. She said she made a time transfer to keep the IT fund within policy and that the amendment reconciles estimated and actual beginning fund balances.
Committee review recommended approval and the council adopted the ordinance by voice vote on second reading. The ordinance text read at the meeting states it amends the annual budget ordinance number 2826 for fiscal year 2026 and moves amounts from estimated beginning fund balances to estimated ending fund balances.
