Planning Commission recommends narrowing River Waters fence restriction and bans front‑yard RV storage

At the May 11 meeting, City Planner Kim Lindquist presented a proposed amendment to Ordinance O‑23‑09 governing the River Waters Residential Planned Unit Development. Lindquist said the amendment would confine the current four‑foot fence limitation to lots 65 feet wide or less so that larger lots may follow standard zoning regulations. The amendment would also add language to prohibit exterior storage of recreational vehicles, utility trailers and similar items within front yards.
