Michelle Romans, dispatch director, told commissioners the dispatch center handled about 12,771 911 calls last year and nearly 67,000 calls‑for‑service overall, and that the center is on pace year‑to‑date to match last year's volumes. "For the year, overall, our 911s, our center took in 12,771 911s," Romans said.
