Foundation considers March Madness bracket pool as a fundraiser
A board member proposed hosting a public March Madness bracket-pool fundraiser using CBS Sports; a trustee volunteered to research feasibility and, if appropriate, to schedule a subcommittee meeting in February to plan the event.

Greg Waks, a member of the Upper Merion Township Foundation board, proposed that the foundation host a public March Madness "Bracket Betting Event" as a fundraiser and suggested using "a Bracket Pool on CBS Sports." Board member Gerri Vattimo said she would research the feasibility and manageability of the township running such an activity and indicated she would schedule a subcommittee meeting in February if the activity proved feasible.
