The St. Maries City Council voted to adopt code amendments addressing nonconformities, enforcement and appeals on March 24, 2025. Councilor Steve Dorendorf moved to approve the ordinance’s first reading by title and to approve the summary; Councilor Ed Spooner seconded. The motion passed 5–1, with Councilor Tina Thomson voting no.
