Greer County commissioners approve leases, permits and county payments
At their July 13 meeting the Greer County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a lease for the Reed Gin, a utility permit for a water line, use of courthouse grounds for a Sept. 26 community event and a set of purchase orders for county payments.

Mark Barnes, chairman of the Greer County Board of Commissioners, called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. on July 13, 2026. Commissioners Steven Fite (vice-chairman) and Brent York were present, and County Clerk Tiffany Buchanan was recorded as attending.
