Stoutland R-II board approves propane bid, amends calendar and sets meal prices

Under new business the board awarded the district’s propane contract to MFA Oil. Missy Miller moved to accept and award the propane bid to MFA Oil; Dustin Britzman seconded and the motion carried 6-0.
The board also amended the 2025–26 school calendar to remove Summer School days scheduled for June 2026. Shawn Henson moved the calendar amendment; Dustin Britzman seconded and the motion carried 6-0.
Board members set meal prices for the 2026–27 school year. By motion of Josh Kincaid, seconded by Dustin Britzman, the board set elementary lunch at $3.35, high school lunch at $3.50, and elementary and high school breakfast at $2.25; the motion carried 6-0.
Later in the meeting the board voted to enter executive session at 7:26 p.m. under Missouri law (Section 610.021(3) and (13)) to discuss student matters and personnel issues including hiring, firing, disciplining and promotion. Shawn Henson moved to enter executive session; Missy Miller seconded.
