Town auditors prepare RFP for professional audit; responses due March 27
Town Auditors have identified three interested firms and will mail an RFP for a professional audit; responses are due March 27, 2026, and the chosen firm will advise on whether a full audit or preliminary assessment is appropriate.

Town Auditor Peter Markalunas told the Selectboard on Jan. 19 that the town's three elected auditors have contacted six accounting firms and identified three that are interested in performing a professional audit of Sandgate's finances. The RFP has been presented to the Selectboard and minute taker Sandy Reidy will send it to the three firms.
